What We Do

Cadet Classification Progressive Syllabus

As you'll see in our 2024 Gallery, being a cadet is a lot of fun, but there's a lot of learning involved too.

All cadets progress through classification training, starting in C-Flight where they learn the necessary elements to become a First Class Cadet. After that cadets are expected to pro-actively study for the next class prior to sitting short exams.

Instructor Cadet

To become an Instructor Cadet cadets must attend and pass a Method of Instruction Course then successfully deliver a lesson in a training environment. If successful the cadet is eligible to wear a yellow lanyard indicating their instructor status.

Skills Based Training

In addition to the above classification training, we offer access to skills based training throughout the year. Each subject has a progressive syllabus starting with Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels of training.

Cadets can quickly fill their brassard and learn essential life skills if they proactively apply for spots on these camps/sessions.
